A Mother's Love

Her Love is like an island

In life's ocean, vast and wide

A peaceful, quiet shelter
From the wind, the rain, the tide,

'Tis bound on the north by Hope,
By Patience On the West,

By tender Counsel on the South
And on the East by Rest.

Above it like a beacon light
Shine Faith, and Truth, and Prayer;

And through the changing scenes of life
I find a haven there.

PRAYER FOR PROTECTION

Why was I chosen?

There's two to wash
There's two to dry

There's two who argue,
there's two who cry.

Some days seem endless
My Patience grows thin.

Why was I chosen
To be a Mother of Twins?

The Answer comes clear
At the end of each day,

As I tuck them in bed
And to myself I say:

There's two to kiss
There's two to hug.
And best of all,
There's Two to Love.

CHILD OF LIGHT, I BLESS YOU!

I think of you,

I pray for you,

Not in terms of what I think you need or
what I think you should do or be or
express.

I lift up my thought about you.

I catch a new vision of you.

I see you guided and directed

By an inward spirit that leads you
unerringly into the path that is right for
you.

I see you strong and whole;

I see you blessed and prospered;

I see you courageous and confident;

I see you capable and successful.

I see you free from limitation or
bondage of any kind.

I see you as the spiritually perfect being
you truly are.

Child of Light, I bless you
!
